The last step in the quality control system is the final inspection. Each piece of equipment that
J&J manufactures goes through a rigorous checklist covering primary equipment, sub-assemblies, controls, instrumentation, and workmanship. The
J&J quality control team is supervised by Dennis Armstrong and directed by Jason Mahla. It is their responsibility to ensure that every product that leaves the
J&J facility has undergone a thorough review and testing. The dump body final inspection checklist has over 100 items and each requires the initials of a
J&J quality inspector. Defects are recorded in the quality database and metrics from the database are used to drive continuous improvement activities.
